As anticipated in SeC’s 2nd Periodic Review in December 2011, the last dissemination event has been hosted in Washington by the ACC, at the Heart House, on 18 June 2012.
The SeC workshop, implemented in the form of a highly specialized seminar, was attended by bio-medical and bio-engineering experts, with presentations by the core technical and clinical team of SeC operating on both sides of the Atlantic, with as distinguished discussants Nathan Wilson (Open Source Medical Software Corp.), Andrew Taylor, (UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science), and Karl Stroetmann (Empirica). The very successful seminar was also honoured by the presence of SeC’s Project Officer, Marta Lorens (ICT for Health Unit, European Commission).
